Of Course You Want Star Trek Wallpaper
And of course there's a lot of Star Trek wallpaper to be found, just by searching. But if you want something unique to yourself, that no one else has, do what I do - make your own.
If you want to make your own Star Trek wallpaper, first review my tutorial on how to make Harry Potter Wallpaper.
Pick Your Imagery
Maybe you already have a favorite Star Trek scene on your computer, or maybe you need to find some. A simple image search at Google will return all manner of Star Trek images, most of which are studio publicity stills and shots.
Find your wallpaper elements, as I describe in the tutorial and then compose your scene.
I found this picture, which I really like - it's a great reaction shot to something... but what?
I also have this great cut-out of CNN's uber-hot anchorman Anderson Cooper:
You can't tell on a white background, but this is not a rectangular image but a 'cut-out'; on a colored background, only Anderson will show up.
The Premise
Well, in the Next Generation universe, Anderson would clearly be a member of the Q Continuum, being omnipotent and all. So I insert the cut-out into the background, sizing to make the distances look right.
The light burst on the bridge screen can be turned into a beam with the clone-stamp tool, a beam that delivers Q2 to the bridge to annoy and interfere with the crew in the great tradition established by the original Q.
But Anderson Cooper, even as a Q, would never be a malicious omnipotent being - no, his legendary compassion would be stirred by the crew's sad fashion plight. Clearly, Q-Anderson will stop at nothing to ensure that the Enterprise-D's crew is fashionably clad.
