• Claire Bennet - Played by actress Hayden Panettiere, the character Claire Bennet who goes from high school cheerleader to hero when she discovers that she can not get hurt. She previously starred in the feature films Bring It On and Racing Stripes among others.
• Nathan Petrelli - Nathan, played by Adrian Pasdar, is a politician who has the ability to fly. Pasdar starred in Top Gun and Streets of Gold among other films, and his TV acting career includes series such as Desperate Housewives, Perfect Getaway and The Lost Capone as well as many others.
• Matt Parkman - Matt Parkman is a detective who has an ability that many police officers probably wish they had - the power to read the mind of others. This role is played by Greg Grunberg, Emmy nominated actor with previous roles in films such as Hollow Man and Mission: Impossible 3.
• Mohinder Suresh - Sendhil Ramamurthy plays the part of geneticist Dr. Mohinder Suresh. Ramamurthy is a newer actor who previously acted in the theater production A Servant to Two Masters and Indian Ink.
• Tracy Strauss - Ali Larter plays the role of Tracy, a Washington lobbyist who discovers that she has the ability to freeze any object or person. Ali has had a number of roles in films such as Resident Evil 3 and Final Destination.
• Peter Petrelli - Milo Ventimiglia plays the part of Peter, a man with the surreal ability to absorb powers from other heroes or villains. His character eventually exploded in one episode over New York City. Milo has enjoyed a long career in feature films including Rocky Balboa, Cursed, Stay Alive and many others.
• Ando Masahashi - James Kyson Lee plays the role of Ando, the friend of time warping hero Hiro Nakamura. James is a new face on the screen, and has a promising future with Heroes triggering a number of additional opportunities on the small screen as well as in feature films.
• Maya Herrera - Dania Ramirez plays Maya, one of the heroes with a dark, dangerous ability the gives Heroes a great deal of drama. Dania Ramirez starred in The Sopranos and Brooklyn to Manhattan.
• Sylar - Actor Zachary Quinto plays the lead role Sylar, the serial killer intent on gathering the talents of those who are "special." This character was stabbed in New York by Hiro, and disappeared. Zachary has acted in both theater as well as on television in series such as CSI, The Others and Crossing Jordan.
• HRG - Jack Coleman plays H.R.G., Claire's mysterious father who has a strange interest in people with "special" powers. Jack has a long career in acting stretching from Broadway all the way through feature films including Grease and film festival favorite Studio City.
